. The board of supervisors shall immediately deposit one roll for filing in the office of the Secretary of State, and cause the other roll to be recorded in the office of the recorder of each county in which any part of the district is situated and filed in the office of the county elections official of the county in which the district, or the greater part of its population, is situated.
