Article 4. Definitions of California Water Code >> Division 20. >> Part 8. >> Chapter 6. >> Article 4.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meaning described in this article:
"Board" shall mean the Board of Directors of the Pomona
Valley Municipal Water District.
"Charges" shall mean charges made for metered water or for
minimum charges for services, including customers' charges, service
charges, demand charges, and capacity charges, but shall not include
charges made for water which is to be resold and delivered through
mains or pipes.
"Month" shall mean a calendar month.
"Person" shall mean any domestic or foreign corporation,
association, syndicate, joint stock company, partnership of any kind,
joint venture, club, Massachusetts business or common law trust,
society, individual, municipal corporation, and the state and any
political subdivision thereof.
"Service user" shall mean any person required to pay a tax
imposed under the provisions of this chapter.
"Service supplier" shall mean any person required to
collect a tax under the provisions of this chapter.
