. During such time as an employee has assumed duties in another entity, pursuant to this chapter, he or she shall continue to be an employee of the California State University, the school district, or the community college district, as the case may be, for all purposes, including, but not limited to, salary, membership in a retirement system, tenure rights, and all other incidents of employment.
