. It is the intent of the Legislature that each demonstration grant consist of a five-year grant awarded to each school district or consortium of districts selected to participate. The total amount of the demonstration grant shall be based on the number of pupils enrolled in schools participating in the demonstration of restructuring in education each year, multiplied by up to two hundred dollars ($200) per pupil per year, depending upon the nature and scope of the proposed demonstration.
