Article 6. Oleomargarine And Imitation Ice Cream Licenses of California Food And Agricultural Code >> Division 15. >> Part 1. >> Chapter 12. >> Article 6.
It is unlawful for any person, unless he has a license to do
so, to engage in the business of manufacturing, freezing, or
processing any of the following:
(a) Oleomargarine, or margarine, colored oleomargarine or colored
margarine, renovated butter, or a substitute for butter.
(b) Imitation ice cream or imitation ice milk.
A person shall first apply each year to the director for a
license to engage in any business or occupation for which a license
is required by Section 35101. Upon payment of the license fee which
is prescribed in Section 35226, the director shall issue a license to
engage in the business for which the license is issued. Separate
licenses are required for each such business or occupation.
Every license which is issued pursuant to Section 35102
expires on June 30th of each year, and may be issued in periods of
one year.
