. The director may require such monthly or other periodical reports, records of market quotations, and other statistical information as may be necessary to him in administering this chapter. All such reports, statistics, or information which is pertinent to each dairy produce exchange which is licensed pursuant to this chapter shall be kept on file in the office of the director and subject to public inspection.
