Chapter 9. Cling Peaches of California Food And Agricultural Code >> Division 22. >> Part 2. >> Chapter 9.
The director may enter into an agreement with one or more
organizations representing growers and manufacturers of cling peaches
whereby research will be conducted by public or private agencies to
determine methods of increasing the natural fructose content in cling
peaches.
The agreement shall specify that the state will provide 50 percent
of the funds necessary for the research and the other parties to the
agreement will provide the remaining 50 percent.
State funds shall be available for expenditure for the
purposes of this chapter upon appropriation therefor by the Budget
Act or other statute.
