Section 399 Of Chapter 1. Great Seal Of The State From California Government Code >> Division 2. >> Title 1. >> Chapter 1.

. (a) There shall be a seal of this state, which shall be called "the Great Seal of the State of California."
  (b) The Great Seal of the state shall be used by the Governor officially.
