The California Health Policy and Data Advisory Commission shall advise and consult with the department in carrying out the administration of this chapter and succeeds to and is vested with the functions, authority and responsibility of the Advisory Hospital Council and the Health Planning Council. Any reference in any code to the Advisory Hospital Council or to the Health Planning Council shall be deemed a reference to the California Health Policy and Data Advisory Commission.
