. The Adjutant General shall keep a correct account of all expenses necessarily incurred, including pay of officers and enlisted men and women, subsistence of militia, transportation of the militia, and all military property of the state. Those expenses shall be audited and paid in the same manner as other military accounts are audited and paid.
