. The department is authorized to construct a recreation project in the vicinity of the City of Oroville along the Feather River. Recreation projects which may be considered, in accordance with the project environmental impact report, include, but are not limited to: a swimming area or facility near Bedrock Park, including sanitary and convenience facilities and channel modification, renovation of salmon-spawning riffles in conjunction with a swimming facility, and development of a parkway project and wildlife area.
