The West Plains Water Storage District is, on the effective

district immediately following the merger plus inclusion, and less
exclusions, of land thereafter made pursuant to law.
The name of the surviving district is Westlands Water
District.
The surviving district is a public agency of the state.
Upon the merger of the two districts, the water storage

California water district then in office constitute the directors and
officers of the surviving district.
Upon the merger, the surviving district succeeds to all
properties, rights, and contracts of each of the two districts and
any funds to which it succeeds may be expended and properly disposed
of as provided by law for California water districts generally.
