Chapter 3. Applicability Of Division of California Water Code >> Division 16. >> Part 1. >> Chapter 3.

This division shall not affect any other law relating to the same or a similar subject, but is intended to provide an alternative method of procedure governing the subject to which it relates. When proceeding under the provisions of this division its provisions and none other shall apply.

The provisions of this division shall be liberally construed to effect the purposes thereof.
